quirkyredhead asked: Hey on the whole farting Boston's issue... It actually has a lot to do with their flat noses. They take in air when they eat and this causes gas. Less fiber might help a little but not as much as they would hope. lol

bryceface asked: Bostons' eat so fast that they are sucking in air at the same time. You'll notice if they don't eat much on one day but eat a lot of food the next they won't fart so much. You'll notice it mainly during the summer since they eat to keep the body temperature up during winter.

925studio asked: on the farting BT- my dog is 2 and she occasionally farts. I put her on a food with less filler and she farted ALL THE TIME. So we have gone back to a weight loss food because she is a bit chunky at 28 pounds and guess what? barely farting.

whamola asked: In regards to the "king of farts" post-- it's true! boston terriers do fart more often than other dogs, and it's because they're nasal passages are much shorter than full-length-muzzled dogs, and thus they gulp a lot more air down their stomachs as they eat-- and sure enough, it comes right out the other end!
